Economic Calendar
Below you will see the World Economic Calendar. This calendar informs you of any scheduled current events which will affect the global financial marketplace. For example, the Central Bank of Ireland might have a policy meeting which you can then see on the chart. Or perhaps a political event is planned – this will also be displayed. You will also be able to view market holidays and general data (such as the latest food and export prices). Beside each event on the chart, you can see the level of impact that each one is likely to have – Low, Medium or High.
The chart also shows what the 'actual' impact of the event was, versus the predicted one. The World Economic Calendar is a vital tool for most market insiders, such as foreign exchange brokers, traders, bankers, economists and any other interested parties. Individuals at home can also use the calendar as a highly informative and interesting reflection of what is happening in the world right now.
