Although prepaid cards look the same as credit or debit cards, their function is very different. With these cards you are not allowed to go overdrawn, so you don’t risk running into debt.
 
Moneybookers is a MasterCard and will be accepted anywhere normal MasterCard’s are accepted. i.e. you can pay online or offline when using it.
 
You have to be over 18 years old but you don’t have to be a resident of Ireland. Anywhere in the European Union counts you eligible for this prepaid card.
 
There is however a fee of 1.80 Euro when using ATMs.
